It’s been two and a half months since Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck following two years of marriage and 22 years of history. While everyone might have their own opinions on how soon is too soon to dive back into the dating pool, Lopez’s loved ones seem to think it’s the perfect time for her to get back out there. Similarly, Affleck is reportedly not opposed to tapping into the dating game once again.
An exclusive source shared with Entertainment Tonight“Jen’s friends and family want to see her get out there again and finally get her happily ever after,” source said.

It appears Affleck agrees that it’s time to move on. Another insider told the publication, “Ben has other priorities that are more important…but he’s open to [dating.]”
While they might both look for their happily ever afters elsewhere, they still share some warm feelings for each other. Back in September, a source told People that they two still have “a lot of love” for each other and are committed to staying “friendly.”
They are holding true to that commitment. Earlier this month, Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s daughter, Violet, spent quality time with the Lopez family. Violet and the On the Floor singer have also appeared together on a few occasions following the split.

The same day, Affleck shared some surprisingly kind things about his ex-flame, Lopez. He praised that she is “spectacular” in her new film, Unstoppable, which Affleck co-produced through his and Matt Damon’s production company, Greenlight.
Yesterday, Lopez responded to the comment, telling an interviewer during the film’s U.K. premiere, “I would describe all of the cast and everybody behind the scenes as spectacular and wonderful.”
